Reaching Beyond the Four Walls

Our pastors, Pastors Art and Kuna Sepulveda, challenge us to have the highest standard of excellence in all that we do.  They set the highest standards on us as a church family and their ministry as a whole.  That is where this blogspot comes in.  It's a communication tool that they recognize as a great way to reach into your heart and mind.  Wherever you're reading this - at home, in your favorite coffee shop or from your iPhone - we want you to sit back, relax, have fun and share your thoughts.  So, won't you join us? Share this blog with others, help us to reach beyond the four walls of our church.

1 John 1:1-4 in the New Living Translation says this: "The one who existed from the beginning is the one we have heard and seen.  We saw him with our own eyes and touched him with our own hands.  He is Jesus Christ, the Word of Life.  This one which is life from God was shown to us, and we have seen him.  And now we testify and announce to you that he is the one who is eternal life.  He was with the Father, and then he was shown to us.  We are telling you about what we ourselves have actually seen and heard, so that you may have fellowship with us.  And our fellowship is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ. We are writing these things so that our joy will be complete."

At the Saturday session of our G12 Hawaii Conference 2009, Sarah Castellanos, the 16-year-old daughter of Pastors Cesar and Claudia Castellanos, gave us a powerful word about the importance of asking God to give us all the heart of a pastor.  We don't need to have the title of "Pastor" to have compassion, to be filled with the fruits of the spirit (love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self control) and embody them in all that we do and with everyone we encounter.

Whether our fellowship is online or in person, on the same island or across the miles, God is in our midst.  He is with us to answer prayer, to heal and to encourage.  We pray that you visit this blogspot regularly so that we may share in the joys of answered prayer and together be a living testimony to many others.
